Château Rouget - 2021

The domain

Located within the Pomerol appellation, Château Rouet's origins date back to before 1700, with its terroir being recognized at the end of the Roman Empire. By the end of the 19th century, the estate had become recognized as one of the appellation's finest wines. In 1992, it was purchased by the Labruyère family, who continued the passion and rigor dictated by its various owners.

The vineyard

Located on 17 hectares, the vineyard is made up of vines averaging 40 years old planted on a terroir of gravel and clay on a subsoil of gravelly ridges and clay-gravel terraces.
