The domain

Clos l'Église is recognized as one of the most extensive vineyards in the heart of Pomerol. Purchased in 1997 by Sylvianne Garcin Cathiard, sister of Daniel Cathiard, owner of Smith Haut-Lafitte, the estate is now managed by Hélène Garcin Cathiard (Barde-Haut and Poésia) and Patrice Lévêque.

The vineyard

Located on 5.89 hectares, the vineyard rests on a clay-gravel soil.

80% Merlot
20% Cabernet Franc
