The domain
A Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Émilion, Château Magrez Fombrauge is one of the finest properties in the Saint-Émilion appellation on the Right Bank of the Bordeaux region. Originating in the 16th century, the château has been owned by Bernard Magrez since 1999.
The vineyard
Situated on 1.96 hectares in an exceptional terroir, the vineyard is planted on clay-limestone soils typical of the Saint-Émilion plateau combined with the molasse soils of Fronsadais.
