The domain
A Margaux Grand Cru located on the Left Bank of Bordeaux, Château du Tertre dates back to 1590. Since 1997, it has been owned by Eric Albada Jelgersma. Considerable investments have been made to enhance this exceptional and unusually homogeneous terroir. Since 2021, management has been entrusted to the Helfrich family, founders of the Grands Chais de France.
The vineyard
Located on 52 hectares, the vineyard is composed of vines which rest on a terroir of fine and deep gravel, clay and sand.
